Oak Ridge Martial Arts Academy. provides the most exciting and innovative programs YOU and YOUR child will ever experience in the area of child development. System?” the majority of parents indicate that they want their children to learn the values taught at Oak Ridge Martial Arts Academy: respect, responsibility and self-discipline. If you are a parents searching for ways to counterbalance the negative messages bombarding your children from movies, television and other forms of pop culture, search no further!

Lil' Dragons

Ages 4 to 6. The youngest children begin their training learning about the American flag and memorizing the 3 Students Creeds. The emphasis is on coordination and listening skills development, as well as many other character building traits.

Karate Kids and Teens

These children will gradually acquire the qualities that every child should have in life today. Build self esteem and confidence to do any thing they put their minds to and work hard for. Learn respect for themselves and other people. Learn to focus and acquire a good level of physical fitness which is essential for a balanced lifestyle. They will learn Kata, Breathing techniques, as well as basic sparring and advanced stepping and striking.

Adult Curriculum

The Adult program concentrates on the heart of Goju-Ryu Karate focusing a great deal on Kata (traditional forms, or set movements which when performed and practiced properly maximize strength, flexibility and mind set). In addition, they also focus on Physical fitness, self defense, and sparring techniques.

Cardio Kick & Bootcamp

Separate from our Karate Program, Cardio Kick and Bootcamp classes are designed for the individual seeking weight loss, flexibility, strength, and/or muscle tone development. There classes are offered on either a per class basis or a monthly basis. The convenience of the school and reasonable rates make these classes an excellent option for anyone interested in getting fit.
